Abstract:En el presente trabajo se diseña y construye un acumulador solar térmico mediante el principio de cambio de fase para optimizar el secado de productos de consumo familiar en un secador solar; el material de cambio de fase utilizado fue la parafina (cera) por sus propiedades térmicas y temperatura de fusión que se encuentra en torno a la temperatura de operación de un secador solar que es de 53 oC.
