This study explores the implementation of SEO on the Dusun Nusantara web-based application as a tourism promotion media. This implementation aims to increase the number of tourist visits to Desa Kota Pari by improving the website's ranking in search engines like Google. The study analyzes the Google Analytics data for the last 90 days to evaluate the effectiveness of SEO implementation. The results show that the implementation of SEO has successfully increased the number of users and sessions on the application, indicating an increase in user interest in visiting the application. However, the high bounce rate of 76.76% needs improvement. Despite this, the average session duration of 1 minute 29 seconds indicates that users are interested in exploring pages in the application. The study concludes that implementing SEO in the DusunNusantara.com application is an effective strategy for promoting tourism in the area. By utilizing a web-based application, managers can provide complete and accurate information about existing tourism in Desa Kota Pari and Pantai Cermin, which can expand the reach of tourism promotion and increase the number of tourists visiting Desa Kota Pari. However, it is essential to improve the application's content to make it more exciting and relevant and to provide a more engaging and interactive experience to the app to increase visitor session duration. Thus, implementing SEO in the Dusun Nusantara application can be an effective strategy for promoting tourism and increasing tourist visits to the area.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) frequently face challenges in effectively promoting and selling their products online. This study aims to develop an optimized website design for digital promotion of SME products, incorporating enhanced search engine optimization (SEO) techniques. The paper first reviews key barriers inhibiting SMEs from harnessing digital channels, including limited expertise and resources in web development, SEO, and online marketing. Core principles of effective website design are then introduced, covering aspects like user-friendly interfaces, high-quality content, efficient site architecture, and responsive layouts. Building on this, SEO best practices are outlined based on an analysis of major ranking signals and algorithmic behavior. An integrated methodology is subsequently proposed for planning and creating SEO-optimized websites tailored to SME product promotion. The methodology incorporates defining goals and KPIs, competitor analysis, keyword research and mapping, optimized content development, technical site optimization, performance tracking, and continuous improvement. To validate the efficacy of this methodology, the study implements it in developing an e-commerce website for a small homemade food business. KPIs including organic traffic, conversions, and revenues are tracked before and after site development. The results demonstrate significant increases across key indicators, highlighting the effectiveness of the proposed approach in bolstering SME digital promotion through optimized website design and SEO. The methodology and findings aim to provide an accessible, impactful framework for SME adoption of digital channels.

The fundamental goal of search engine optimization (SEO) is to increase a webpage's visibility by assuring prominent placement on the first page of search results. Rather than inputting the complete website address or URL, users enter select words or phrases related to their search. Major search engines, such as Google, use web crawlers and ranking algorithms, such as the PageRank Algorithm, to evaluate website pages based on content quality and length of online access. As a consequence, the search engine analyzes the input term or phrase, looking for related site pages and showing a complete list at the top of the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs). This investigation also digs into the usage of AI-based content production and analysis technologies to improve SEO methods. It recognises the influence of generative technologies, such as OpenAI, on SEO. The report emphasizes the interconnectedness between SEO methods and AI breakthroughs, emphasizing their potential to revolutionize the digital world. A solid grasp of these dynamics enables digital practitioners and website owners to successfully utilize the possibilities of AI and traverse the always developing SEO landscape.
