Recibido: 13 de diciembre de 2010 Aceptado: 24 de enero de 2011 RESUMEN Considerando el relativismo en la valoración del fenómeno literario, que ha dado lugar a la llamada crisis de la literariedad, y a partir de una crítica de las concepciones desarrolladas por la hermenéutica clásica y la crítica recepcional empírica acerca de la interpretación, el presente artículo trata de aclarar las relaciones comunicativas que conforman el proceso de interpretación literaria y sus condicionantes.Palabras clave: Crisis de la literariedad, subjetivismo interpretativo, comprensión e interpretación literarias. Literariness Crisis and Literary InterpretationABSTRACT Considering the relativism in the assessment of the literary phenomenon which has led to the socalled literariness crisis and from the criticism of the conceptions developed by classical hermeneutics and the empirical science of literature about interpretation, the present article tries to clarify the communicative relationships that constitute the process of literary interpretation an its determining factors.Keywords: Literariness Crisis, Interpretative Subjectivism, Literary Comprehension and Interpretation. At the end of the 19th century most psychologists conceptualized psychology as a natural science. However, a few philosopher-psychologists, including Wilhelm Dilthey, envisioned psychology as a Geisteswissenschaft with understanding as its core method. It is less known that Dilthey also promoted ideas for developmental psychology. This paper addresses the views of Wilhelm Dilthey and his student Eduard Spranger on the human mind and developmental psychology. While Dilthey provided general guidelines for studying mental life, Spranger promoted a holistic characterization of adolescence gained through the method of understanding. It is suggested that a geisteswissenschaftliche psychology may offer relevant, yet, neglected insights for contemporary developmental psychology.
