Abstract: No momento atual, passamos por transição paradigmática em relação a como compreendemos Saúde e Cuidado. O modelo biomédico vem sendo substituído por uma visão integral do homem e, na assistência, privilegia-se a promoção de saúde e a prevenção de agravos.
