Integration of Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) will assist teachers to the global requirement to replace traditional teaching methods with technology-based teaching and learning tools and facilities. In Malaysia, ICT is considered as one of the main elements in transforming the country to future development. The Ministry of Education, through the latest Education Blueprint (2013-2025), insights the importance of technology-based teaching and learning into the schools’ national curriculum. This study aims to analyze teachers’ perceptions of the effectiveness of ICT integration to support the teaching and learning process in the classroom. A survey questionnaire was distributed randomly to a total of 101 teachers from 10 public secondary schools in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The data for this quantitative research were analyzed for both descriptive and inferential statistics using SPSS (version 21) software. The results indicate that ICT integration has great effectiveness for both teachers and students. Findings indicate that teachers’ well-equipped preparation with ICT tools and facilities is one of the main factors in the success of technology-based teaching and learning. It was also found that professional development training programs for teachers also played a key role in enhancing students’ quality learning. For future studies, there is a need for consideration of other aspects of ICT integration especially from a management point of view concerning strategic planning and policymaking.

Student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect need attention because it is the professional competence of prospective teachers related to mastery of learning materials. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of learning in the context of ethnoscience on learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects of prospective physics teacher students. The research method used is quantitative with two stages. First, a limited trial study with a one-group pretest-posttest design at Hamzanwadi University with a total of 9 students. Second, experimental research with a post-test only group design was conducted at the University of Mataram, with a total of 77 students. In a limited trial study, an N-gain test analysis was carried out to determine the success rate of treatment with the minimum category being in the "medium" criteria. In experimental research, the effect of treatment was tested. The research sample includes all students who take the High School Physics Studies course at the Physics Education Study Program, University of Mataram, in the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The class is divided into 3 groups consisting of a class that uses an LMS with an ethnoscience context (Group A) totaling 27 people, a class using an LMS with a module (Group B) totaling 23 people, and a class using an LMS with PowerPoint (Group C) totaling 27 people. Cognitive learning outcomes data were obtained from giving essay tests after treatment. Analysis of the data used to test the hypothesis is a one-way ANOVA with SPSS 25 calculation. The results show that the average value of Group A is 78.00, Group B is 70.70, and Group C is 70.96. Lectures in Group A have a significant influence on student cognitive learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study is that learning in the context of ethnoscience has a positive effect on the professional competence of prospective physics teachers

Cloud computing is one of the significant technologies that is used to provide seamless internet surfing for large-scale applications and data storing purposes. The cloud is described as a large platform that enables users to access data from the internet without needing to buy storing space in their equipment such as a computer. Many studies have analysed the load-balancing technique on the cloud to distribute tasks equally between servers using the Equally Spread Current Execution (ESCE) algorithm. ESCE, which is a dynamic load balancer, has quite a few problems such as average level performance and too long of response time which affected the Quality of Services. This research has simulated a cloud computing concept using the ESCE Load Modelling technique with the CloudAnalyst simulator for three servers of Data Center (DC) locations. The ESCE was simulated to enhance its algorithm's performance as a load balancer and higher throughput in the cloud environment. The result shows that ESCE average overall response time is shortest when the DC is located at R0 with response times of 15.05s, 13.05s with 10 VMs, and 8.631s with the Optimize Response Time brokerage policy. This research is significant to promote notable load-balancing technique testing for virtualized cloud machines data centers on Quality of Services (QoS) aware tasks for Internet of Things (IoT) services.
