Bedengan Forest Ecotourism, Malang Regency is one of sustainable tourism destinations, a tourism area that is environmentally friendly and based on ecology which is managed by Lembaga Kemitraan Desa Pengelola Hutan/Forest Management Village Partnership Institute (LKDPH). This research discusses about community especially tourist motivation to participate through environmental investments that have an impact on preserving the forest environment in Bedengan. The objectives of this research are to find out the priority tourist attributes of Bedengan Forest Ecotourism and estimating the value of the community's Willingness to Pay (WTP) for retribution. The analytical methods used quantitative descriptive and contingent valuation method. The research results show that the community feels that the quality of the environment is better with the existence of a conservation area so they are willing to make environmental investments; the community prioritize cheaper price as a tourist attribute that attracts them to revisit Bedengan forest ecotourism; and the community's WTP retribution (entrance ticket) is IDR 44,500 per person. The results of calculation show that the community WTP has increased from the initial retribution set by LKDPH. The results of this research can be used as an evaluation material for LKDPH to continue maintain tourism development policies by paying attention to environmental, social and economic sustainability.

Budaya merupakan unsur signifikan kepariwisataan. Wisatawan melakukan perjalanan ke berbagai tempat karena orintasi budaya. Survei UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization) setiap tahunnya, melaporkan perkembangan pariwisata budaya terus meningkat. NESPARNAS (Neraca Satelit Pariwisata Nasinoal) juga merekam pendapatan devisa yang tinggi dari segmen pariwisata budaya. Gambaran itu memberikan sinyalemen potensi aset budaya dapat dikembangkan sebagai pesona pariwisata berbasis konservasi dan ekonomi. Namun, beberapa wilayah di Indonesia belum mampu memanfaatkannya secara produktif, Lombok Timur, di Nusa Tenggara Barat, mengalami kemandekan semacam itu. Tujuan penelitian ini melakukan identifikasi dan analisis potensi aset budaya Kabupaten Lombok Timur menjadi pesona pariwisata. Selanjutnya, melakukan evaluasi tingkat daya tarik pasar dan daya tahan aset budaya. Melalui pertimbangan praktis, penelitian ini membatasi diri pada aset budaya fisik. Lima aset budaya terpilih; Bale Beleq Sembalun, Bale Balaq Tanjung Luar, Bale Beleq Jerowaru, Rumah Adat Limbungan, dan Makam Selaparang. Metode analisis data menggunakan model audit Matrik Daya Tarik Pasar dan Daya Tahan Aset Budaya. Penelitian ini menemukan lima aset budaya berada pada tiga klaster; A1, A2, dan C2. Rumah Adat Limbungan dan Makam Selaparang pada klaster A1, memiliki daya tarik pasar dan daya tahan aset budaya yang Tinggi. Bale Beleq Sembalun pada klaster A2, memiliki daya tarik pasar yang Tinggi dengan daya tahan aset yang Sedang dan Bale Balaq Tanjung Luar dan Bale Beleq Jerowaru berada pada klaster C2, memiliki daya tarik pasar dan daya tahan aset yang Sedang.

Indonesia is one of the countries in the world that has many large islands and thousands of small islands. The small island is a unique environment with a distinctive community life. The main occupations of the people on small islands are generally fishermen and boat owners. This study aims to determine the socio-economic conditions of small islands, especially the livelihoods and incomes of local communities as well as the condition of coastal and shallow marine resources around small islands in supporting the development of marine tourism in one of the small islands in Indonesia. This research was conducted on Barrang Caddi islands, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. Data were collected through direct interviews, deep interviews and focus group discussions with local community, local government representatives, traditional leaders and community leaders. Marine resource data is carried out by direct observation and recording in the field. The data collected is analyzed descriptively. During our study, we are found that the main livelihood as fishermen, with an average level of income that is good for their daily life. Besides having a good income, the community also maintains their culture well. Some traditional cultural activities are well developed. This can be an activity that attracts visitors. The findings illustrate those economic conditions with good income are a strong driver in the development of tourist destination in this island. The strength of good tourism is to maintain all the supporting aspect such as cline white sand and marine resources. One of the marine resources that attracts the attention of visitors is coral reefs. Small island communities can increase their income by developing local potential management for marine tourism. Preserving marine resources is a strength that can be developed from marine tourism management. The recommendation of this research is that marine tourism is a prospective social economic development and marine resources strength of the small island.
