Abstract: Abstract:This study aims to describe the design of a valid Learning Module for Elementary Elementary subjects. This research type is research of development by using 4D model that is definition stage (define), design stage (design), development stage (develop), and dissemination stage (disseminate). This study looks at whether the designed module is valid, then conducted expert test, namely expert design of Elementary Electronic Learning Module and expert readings Elementary Electronic Learning Module. “…Research shows that if smartphone media can be applied to chemistry learning, it is proven that students tend to understand the material more easily because the material is interactive, dynamic and can be accessed at any time [34], [47], so that indirectly the use of smartphones can increase the mastery of competence in the cognitive aspects of students. These results are in line with other research which reveals the use of smartphones in vocational schools, as it is known that vocational learning requires various practical skills that students need to master, in addition to cognitive abilities [48], [49]. Students in vocational high schools were able to learn more effectively because to the use of cellphones in the classroom [36], [50], Besides that, other research has also succeeded in proving that the use of smartphones in which there are applications for learning turns out to be influential and contributes to the achievement of 21st-century students' abilities, such as critical thinking and creative thinking [51], [52].…”

“…Engineering education students in higher education are expected to have good competency skills (Kusumaningrum et al, 2016;Rahmadani, Hidayat, & Syahmaidi, 2018;Syahmaidi et al, 2021), independence, entrepreneurial spirit, (Yulastri, & Hidayat, 2017;Yulastri et al, 2019) and the ability to survive living in society, this condition requires engineering education students to be more serious in the learning process in higher education (Park, 2015;Tasrif et al, 2021). One alternative to support the learning of engineering education students in tertiary institutions is the design of multimedia learning (Zarei, Mohd-Yusof, & Daud, 2015;Tasrif, 2019a;Tasrif et al, 2020b;Syah, & Tasrif, 2021).…”
