Background/purpose -During the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers were required to update school activities using various technological tools. The aim of this mixed research was the construction and usage analysis of the Digital Game for the teaching-learning process on Electronics (DGE) version 3.0 in the Combinational Circuits unit through data science. Materials/methods -DGE version 3.0 facilitates the construction of new educational spaces in the distance modality. This web game consists of a simulator that presents the contents of the output function for two variables and their representation through logic gates. The participants of the study were 15 electronic and electrical engineering students who took a digital design course at the National Autonomous University of Mexico during the 2021 academic year. Results -The machine learning (linear regression) results indicate that the interface, design, and color of the DGE version 3.0 web game positively influenced the students' assimilation of knowledge and skills development in the field of electronics. On the other hand, the decision tree technique identified six predictive models with regards to the use of the DGE version 3.0. Conclusion -Technological advances such as web gaming can facilitate the teaching-learning process from virtually any location.

Nowadays, teachers can transform the organization and realization of school activities before, during and after the face-to-face sessions through the flipped classroom. The objective of this mixed research is to analyze the impact of the flipped classroom in the teaching-learning process on statistics considering data science and machine learning (linear regression). The sample consists of 61 students who took the Statistical Instrumentation for Business course during the 2018 school year. This research proposes the consultation of the YouTube videos before the class, performance of the collaborative exercises and use of the spreadsheet to check the results during the class and performance of the laboratory practices through the spreadsheet after the class. The results of machine learning (70%, 80% and 90% of training) indicate that the participation of the students before, during and after the class positively influences the assimilation of knowledge and development of mathematical skills about the frequencies and measures of central tendency. On the other hand, the decision tree technique identifies 6 predictive models on the use of the flipped classroom. Also, the students of the Statistical Instrumentation for Business course are motivated and satisfied to use the technological tools in the Introduction to statistics Unit. Finally, the flipped classroom allows the construction of new educational spaces and creation of creative activities before, during and after the class that favor the participation of the students during the learning process.

This study aims to describe the process of developing Constructivism-based Mathematics Multimedia, determine students’ perceptions of Multimedia and find out the level of improvement in students’ mathematics communication skills after using this Multimedia. This research ran for 1 month in class X MIPA 1, X MIPA 2, and X MIPA 3 SMAN 1 Jambi. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE development model. The type of data is qualitative data and quantitative data. From the results of the pre-test and post-test, it was found that 13 students had an increase in mathematical communication skills with high criteria, 7 students had an increase in mathematical communication skills with medium criteria, and 12 students had an increase in mathematical communication skills with low criteria. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that Constructivism-based Multimedia can improve the students’ mathematics communication skills.
