“…The LODs and LOQs together with the upper limit of the linear range of the ICP-AES method are also given in Table 2. The LODs ranged between 0.09-2.43 μg/g, and were comparable with other works that used microwave digestion for the dissolution of the edible oils [30][31][32][33]. Considering this fact, the proposed method could be used as an alternative to microwave assisted digestion.…”

“…The results of statistical analysis of the experimental data demonstrate that the fitted models showed significant model p values (<.05) and non-significant lack of fit p values (>.05) for measured responses of both dependent variables ( Table 3 ). In addition, high R 2 values (close to 1) suggested that the fitted models were effective to predict the responses with high accuracy (Carneiro et al., 2020 ). Previous studies suggest that best fit model should have a significant p value of <.05, non-significant lack of fit p value of >.05, acceptable precision value of >4 and difference between adjusted R 2 and predicted R 2 values should be <0.2 (Aksoylu Özbek & Günç Ergönül, 2020 ).…”

“…The extraction induced by emulsion breaking was performed according to Carneiro et al (40) with adaptations. A falcon tube containing 3.0 ml of crude sunflower oil and 3.0 ml of ethanol was shaken for 20 s in a vertex shaker, then 3.0 ml of ultrapure water (conductivity 18.2 MΩcm, Millipore, Biocel, Germany), 0.76 ml of Triton x-100, and 3.0 ml of HNO 3 were added, and then mixed with a vortex mixer for 20 min.…”
