Critical Thinking Skills on Physics Learning during COVID-19 Pandemic: A Bibliometric Analysis using VOSViewer

Abstract: Critical thinking skills (CTS) are still one of the research trends in this decade, including during the COVID-19 pandemic. Research will focus on generating a profile of CTS on physics learning during COVID-19 pandemic based on bibliometric analysis using VOSViewer. The findings indicated there were some parameters or interrelationships among variables to capture current and future trend of CTS on physics learning, such as analysis, implementation, effectiveness, effect, development, and technology. The resea… Show more

“…Research conducted by Zakaria and Purwoko (2021) states that critical thinking abilities must be acquired through education, specifically through developing futureready living abilities. Students are declared to have the ability to think critically on five indicators, namely: 1) making decisions on problem-solving steps, 2) analyzing, 3) making inferences, 4) evaluating, and 5) making conclusions (Jatmiko et al, 2021;Neswary & Prahani, 2022;Rizki et al, 2023;Rohmah & Prahani, 2021;Saphira & Prahani, 2022). Learning media can help measure the critical thinking ability of BBL model students.…”

“…This bibliometric analysis can provide an understanding of novelty and trends in research, thereby helping researchers and educators identify knowledge gaps that need to be filled in the future. future (Suprapto et al, 2021a;Jatmiko, 2021). This method maps research trends using the Vosviewer software to show the co-occurrence of relationships between authors, documents, and keywords related to the research topic (Dawana et al, 2022a).…”

“…With VOSviewer, we can identify the classification of top authors (Alsuraihi, 2022). The grouping and connection of each author are indicated by the presence of clusters (Jatmiko et al, 2021). The first result of the online learning topic is divided into 3 clusters, namely red (n=3), green (n=2), and blue (n=1).…”
