Countries can check the performance of their logistics' activities to determine their competitiveness in trade logistics. One way to check these performances is to analyze the country's LPI value in detail which is released by the WB every two years. When calculating the LPI, six indicators (criteria) are taken into account. The weights (importance level) of these criteria are important for countries which would like to focus more on the most important criteria and move their ranking up in the LPI list. However the WB takes into account indicators (criteria) weights equally when calculating LPI values. In order to overcome this problem some studies have used subjective weighting methods and others have used objective weighting methods. Both methods have advantages and disadvantages. The aim of this study is to integrate two weighting methods (subjective (SWARA) and objective (CRITIC)) in determining the weights of criteria in order to balance the two weighting methods. Unlike other studies in the literature this study combines two weighting methods. Additionally the PIV method, which is seldom used to address any MCDM problem, is used in this study and a new integrated MCDM model is introduced to literature. In this respect this study contributes to the literature.

Supplier selection is an important process that needs to be emphasized if customer satisfaction and operating efficiency are to be attained. Businesses also need to take into account environmental sustainability as part of the criteria when selecting their suppliers. This is in line with the need for enterprises to prioritize ecological conditions in their supply chain components such as production, distribution, and storage. On top of the supplier selection problem, another component of the chain that has an impact on the performance and efficiency of the enterprise, especially due to the accompanying costs, and which needs to be given much consideration is the distribution. This study aims to determine the significance levels of the factors that need to be taken into account when determining the criteria to be used in the selection of a green supplier and an ideal distribution model for the company. The study the SAW method to determine the significance levels of the factors and the ROV method to obtain the ideal distribution model. The results revealed that the most important factors were "quality", "green elements" and "service" while the least important factors were found to be "delivery" and "technical elements", respectively. The most ideal distribution model was the "Feeding Flight Model".

Times Higher Education tarafından yayınlanan World University Rankings 2018 listesinde yer alan, Türkiye'nin içinde bulunduğu 81 ülkenin üniversitelerinin performans değerlendirmesi nesnel ağırlıklandırma yöntemleri ve çok kriterli karar verme yöntemleri ile değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada, nesnel ağırlıklandırma yöntemlerinden CRITIC ve ENTROPI yöntemleri ile çok kriterli karar verme yöntemlerinden TOPSIS, MAUT, SAW ve ARAS yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada, iki farklı nesnel ağırlıklandırma yöntemi olan CRITIC ve ENTROPI yöntemlerinin sonuca etkisi araştırılmıştır. Uygulamada; Öğretim, araştırma, alıntılama, gelir ve uluslararası görünüm olmak üzere beş alanda performans değerlendirmesi kriterleri gruplandırılmıştır. Dört farklı yöntemle yapılan sıralamalar veri birleştirme yöntemi olan BORDA sayım yöntemi ile birleştirilerek tek bir bütünleşik sıralama elde edilmiştir. Çalışmada performans kavramına dair genel bilgilendirmeye yer verilmiştir ve çok kriterli karar verme yöntemleri açıklanmıştır. Bu kavramlar bir araya getirilmiş ve çalışmanın teori ve uygulama kısmı oluşturulmuştur. Üniversite ve ülke performansları çok kriterli karar verme yöntemlerine göre değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda her iki ağırlıklandırma yöntemine göre ilk ülke Singapur olmuştur.
