The techniques used in the present study were previously validated and used by Collares et al (1997) and Chen et al (2017) . Whether oxytocin administration decreases available colostrum to the neonate, especially those born later in the litter, is not known and warrants future research since this could impact growth and reproductive performance for these animals later in life.…”
