Lithium alkyl-1-trihydroaluminates, which are prepared by the catalytic hydroalumination of α-olefins with LiAlH4 in the presence of a catalytic amount of a titanium–aluminium complex, undergo the alkyl–alkyl coupling reaction upon treatment with copper (II) acetate. The reaction of lithium alkylaluminates with allylic halides in the presence of copper (II) acetate affords the alkyl–allyl cross-coupling products.

Palladium-katalysierte Kupplungsreaktionen von Organozinn-Verbindungen mit unterschiedlichsten organischen Elektrophilen sind eine relativ neue Methode zur Kniipfung von Kohlenstoff-Kohlenstoff-Bindungen. Da sie unter milden Bedingungen ablauft und eine Vielfalt funktioneller Gruppen an jedem der beiden Reaktionspartner ermoglicht, dariiber hinaus stereospezifisch, regioselektiv und in hohen Ausbeuten verlauft, eignet sie sich ideal fur die Synthese komplizierter organischer Verbindungen. Wird die Kupplungsreaktion in Gegenwart von Kohlenmonoxid ausgefiihrt, so findet eine Verknupfung der beiden Reaktanten unter Kohlenmonoxid-Insertion statt, so daR man Ketone erhalt.

Einen ganz anderen Verlauf nimmt die Umsetzung des Azirins 1 und Acetylendicarbonsaure-dimethylester in Gegenwart von Molybdanhexacarbonyl. Uber diese Reaktionen ist schon in einer vorlaufigen Mitteilung berichtet worden [4]; die vorliegende Arbeit enthalt erganzende Versuche und den vollstandigen experimentellen Teil. Molybdanhexacarbonyl-induzierte Additionen von 3-Phenyl-2H-azirinen undAcetylencarbonsaureestern. -Eine Losung von 2,2-Dimethyl-3-phenyl-2 H-azirin (1) und Acetylendicarbonsaure-dimethylester (2a) sowie Mo (CO), (Molverhaltnis cu. 1 : 2 : l ) in getrocknetem Benzol wurde unter Ar-Atmosphare drei Tage bei 35-45' geruhrt. Nach Filtration und wiederholter Chromatographie an Kieselgel wurde 2,2-Dimethyl-3-phenyl-2 H-pyrrol-4,5-dicarbonsaure-dimethylester (5a) in 28% Ausbeute erhalten (Schemu 2, Tab.). Bei dieser Kingerweiterung vom 3-zum 5-gliedrigen Heterocyclus wird offensichtlich die C, N-Doppelbindung des Azirins 1 gespalten, im Gegensatz zu der in Schema 1 skizzierten Fez (CO),-katalysierten Additionsreaktion, die unter Spaltung der C , N-Einfachbindung verlauft.In Schema 2 ist der Mo(CO),-katalysierten Additionsreaktion von 1 und 2 die photochemisch induzierte gegenubergestellt, die im Falle von 2a unter C, C-Bindungsbruch zum 2H-Pyrrol 6a, einem lsomeren von 5a, fuhrte [ 5 ] . Die zu 5a analogen 2H-Pyrrole 5b und 5c wurden aus dem Azirin 1 und Acetylendicarbonsaure-diathylester (2 b) bzw. Propiolsaure-methylester (2c) in Gegenwart von Mo (CO), gebildet (Tub.). Unter gleichen Reaktionsbedingungen entstand hingegen aus 1 und Phenylpropiolsaure-athylester (2d) kein 2 EI-Pyrrol; als einziges Produkt wurde das Dimerisierungsprodukt des Azirins isoliert, namlich 2,2,5,5-TetramethyI-3,6-diphenyl-2,5-dihydropyrazin (8) [6].Bei der Mo (CO),-katalysierten Reaktion von 1 und Propiolsaure-methylester (2c) bildete sichallerdings in geringer Ausbeuteregioselektiv das 2H-Pyrrol 5c (Tub.); isomere Produkte konnten nicht nachgewiesen werden3).
