In other studies, 17,19,20 these factors were also the most reported ones. In this study, 65.4% of the puerperal women reported at least one benefit for the nursing mother, and this frequency is lower than the results presented in another study carried out with pregnant women assisted in health units in a city of Bahia, from October 2010 to May 2011, in which 88% of the interviewees recognized the importance of breastfeeding for the health of the women.…”
