Kansei Engineering has been adopted as a method to analyze the relationship between human emotional factors and the critical elements design of system in developing a new product of software based on consumers’ emotion. However, the general analysis in kansei engineering has been using statistical analysis such as principal component analysis, factor analysis etc. in evaluating the data average gathered from all respondents, and then giving a recommendation the suitable product. This paper reports an attempt to discover the relationship between interface design of product and consumers’ emotion using Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM) method rather than using the convensional of statistical method. This research also recommends a global system design of kansei engineering system to support consumers’ decision in choosing the most desired product based on their real emotional feeling.

Emotions play an essential role in decision making, managing, perceiving and learning and influencing rational thinking process of humans. Emotions are also important in teaching and learning and often find expression in particular ways, such as interactions with others, our interest and motivation in learning. The influence of emotions on learning is still under-emphasized. Continuous and increasing exploration of the complex set of parameters surrounding online learning reveals the importance of the emotional states of learners and especially the relationship between learning and affective behavior. This study aims to recognize learners' affective behavior in real class room environment and relate them in to the e learning environment. The proposed actions were based on the experiment carried out among the Sri Lankan university system regarding the learner behavior during teaching and learning. The results of the experiment have been used for the new developments of the e learning courses and there by the performances of the e learners will enhance accordingly.I.

Academic institutions have opportunity to provide better learning environment over the Internet using open source web-based e-Learning systems. One of the important issues is how to choose a suitable e-Learning system that can meet what learners need implicitly. It lacks guide to support academic institutions in determining a proper e-Learning system based on learners' needs; it becomes the reason of the implementation of e-Learning that cannot work for long time. This chapter gives an information of result observation regarding learners' psychological aspects toward e-Learning system using Kansei Engineering and its correlation with the e-Learning interface design. Analyzing learner's preference related to e-Learning system, it can provide the kind of desired e-Learning system to enhance learners' experience; finally, it can help the academic institutions to implement e-Learning system continually for a long time.
