Comportamento reológico e nomenclatura dos alimentos utilizados por fonoaudiólogos de serviços de disfagia

Abstract: OBJETIVO: estudar o comportamento reológico e a forma de classificação e nomeação das diferentes preparações utilizadas nas intervenções com pacientes disfágicos, realizada por fonoaudiólogos do estado de São Paulo, tendo como referência a proposta australiana de padronização da nomenclatura. A strategy adopted by some speech-language pathologists to avoid misunderstandings in diet prescriptions is describing not only the indicated consistency but also the appropriate food for patients (10) . It is worth emphasizing that speech-language pathologists mentioned less complications (n=10) than nutritionists (n=16) -out of the 18 possible complications, more than half of them (n=10) was not mentioned in both the categories, eight were only by nutritionists, and two only by speech-language pathologists.…”
