Comparative effects of flavonoids on oxidant scavenging and ischemia-reperfusion injury in cardiomyocytes

Abstract: Since flavonoids scavenge reactive oxygen species, they may potentially protect against ischemia/ reperfusion injury. This study compared the scavenging capacity of specific flavonoids towards different reactive oxygen species.
