<span lang="EN-US">Every society dreams of true peace. To achieve true peace, humans need to start with inner peace. The importance of peace becomes one of the bases for developing a measure of peace for designing peace-building programs. This research answered the need for these measuring tools by developing and validating a peace measuring instrument called the Indonesian peace of mind scale (IPoMS). This instrument consists of seven items in two aspects: the internal state of peacefulness and harmony. This study used Rasch analysis to test the construct validity of IPoMS. The construct validity test involved 202 vocational high school students in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Data analysis using Win step software provides information about the quality of respondents and instruments, items that are easy and difficult for respondents to agree on, fit order items, and unidimensionality. The results of the application of Rasch analysis showed that IPoMS is good, precise, and have item conformity with the model. IPoMS is a reliable and valid measuring tool to measure students’ level of peace accurately. This research discussed the implications and recommendations for further research for the implementation of guidance and counseling containing the value of peace as a follow-up to the performance of IPoMS.</span>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan eksperimen penerapan model pembelajaran Jigsaw untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada kelas X F SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak. Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah secara visual aktivitas pembelajaran di kelas masih kurang baik, hal tersebut ditandai dengan hasil asesmen formatif ketika mengajar di kelas dengan menggunakan metode kontenporer dalam menjelaskan materi dari awal sampai akhir. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) sebanyak 2 siklus. Siklus I menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa belum memenuhi target dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 37%. Melalui refleksi pada siklus I, peneliti melakukan perubahan dan perbaikan terhadap pelaksanaan pendekatan dan model pembelajaran. Siklus II dilaksanakan dengan tetap menggunakan model Jigsaw yang dimodifikasi. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan yaitu mencapai rata-rata ketuntasan belajar sebesar 81%. Peningkatan tersebut melebihi target yang ditetapkan (80%-89%), Hasil tersebut berarti bahwa penerapan pendekatan kooperatif dengan model Jigsaw efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

This research explored and looked forward to the competencies and objectives of the feasibility of learning designs needed for the post-quarantine era of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia, especially in Papua. The research method used in our study is qualitative which focuses on structural analysis to answer problems in the research found through preliminary studies. Our research sites are located in several educational institutions in Papua. The study population was all students at the elementary, junior high, high school and university levels in Papua, Indonesia. We used a sampling method in the form of a purposive sampling technique. The samples were three academic institutions; SMP N 5 Jayapura, SMA Pembangunan V Yappis, and Universitas Cenderawasih. Research instruments for collecting data were in the form of interview sheets, observation sheets, and questionnaires related to physics learning in the new normal era. The results of the study found that the physics learning design based on local potential in the new normal era can be an alternative for teaching physics concepts contextually. Students can observe the surrounding environment related to local customary culture which is indigenous science and educators represent the report in the form of a connection between the concept of science and local culture.
