Show more

“…la). Recent systematic investigations by Klesper and Hartmann [16,39.621, as well as by Nieman and Rogers("1, show that a slow or moderate increase in pressure with time is important for a satisfactory resolution. The best resolution possible, however, is obviously attained by a combination of pressure and temperature These results support the view that a continuous and gradual increase of the dissolving power of the mobile phase is important for higher resolution and that the pressure and the temperature programs should operate appropriately to this end.…”

“…A survey was provided by the Symposium on "Extraction with Supercritical Gases" held on June 5 and 6, 1978, at Essen (for contributions, see lzi.221). Three sessions at the 6th AIRAPT International High Pressure Conference, July 25-29, 1977, Boulder, Colorado, USA, and the 157th Meeting of the Electrochemical Society, May 11- 16,1980, St. Louis, Mississippi, USA, had the same main topic. (For a detailed discussion of all relevant problems see [ I 7 251.…”

“…[e.g. [45][46][47][48][49][50] are considered to be exceptions. In general, the working ranges of both high temperature capillary GC and capillary SFC, are almost congruent as long as the compounds are thermally stable and as long as apolar mobile phases like CO2 are used preferentially.…”
