At the current stage, developed economies are able to implement measures to improve energy efficiency. At the same time, the developing economies mostly focus on rapid development, which implies a rapid increase in energy demand. The introduction of innovative technologies should meet the energy needs of economies while simultaneously improving energy efficiency. In particular, this applies to increasing renewable energy consumption. The development of this sector can be accelerated through the introduction of Industry 4.0. The aim of the study is to determine the impact of Industry 4.0 on modelling energy scenarios of developing economies. The research involved methods of analysis and synthesis, economic and statistical analysis, graphical methods, and the comparison. The study revealed a high impact of Industry 4.0 on the Ukrainian economy, in particular energy sector. Among other things, an improved energy efficiency is the result of such impact. It was determined that renewable energy consumption in Ukraine increased significantly by 11.5 times during the studied period. The differences in the energy development of Ukraine and China are outlined: China has chosen energy independence. It was concluded that the development and implementation of the latest technologies play a significant role in energy scenarios. The timing of achieving the goals are the main difference in energy scenarios between developed countries and developing countries. The prospect of further research should be the determining means of measuring the impact of uncertainty on the energy modelling.

The energy consumption impact is an important factor in the development of countries' economies. The European region is energy-dependent due to a significant shortage of energy carriers and an energy crisis. The energy dependence weakens the energy market and increases its vulnerability to external influences. The subject of research in the article is the characteristics, objective laws, and trends of the development of energy factors that are relative to other influence factors on the economic development of European countries. And the purpose is to analyze and assess important factors influencing the energy markets on the modern economic development of European countries. The task is to analyze the current state of traditional energy resource consumption, to determine the specifics of the impact of energy markets on macroeconomic indicators. To assess the influence degree of energy market indicators on macroeconomic development, which allows to identify the important factors for analysis and to indicate the general position of energy markets in the economy there are used following general scientific methods: systematic, logical and descriptive; analysis and synthesis; statistical; economic-mathematical modeling, namely the construction of a correlation-regression model. Based on the conducted analysis, it was established that the energy markets of the EU have a general feature of increasing dependence, and therefore their sensitivity on external factors, which is associated with a significant decrease in domestic production, as well as a weak differentiation of markets. The production of the main energy resources in Europe has a downward trend for all energy markets, which leads to the increased importance of imports. The influence of energy market factors on the macroeconomic indicators of EU countries is determined. The conducted correlation analysis confirmed the significant impact of the oil market on the GDP growth rate in the EU. The high energy dependence of the EU countries indicates the increased dependence on external factors but no direct correlation between energy dependence and economic development was found. The high dependence of the EU on the import of energy resources is a significant problem, and the energy security factor is also important for investors in the EU. Conclusions: energy factors do not have a significant impact on the development of EU GDP at the current stage, and the quality use of energy resources is more important than their consumption, which emphasizes the importance of efficient use of resources for the further development of the EU economy.

Розвинені економіки на сучасному етапі функціонування вже можуть упроваджувати заходи з підвищення енергоефективності. При цьому економіки країн, що розвиваються, здебільшого акцентують увагу на швидкому розвитку, який супроводжується стрімким зростанням попиту на енергію. Упровадження інноваційних технологій має забезпечувати потреби економік країн в енергії при одночасному підвищенні енергоефективності. Зокрема це стосується підвищення споживання енергії з відновлюваних джерел, розвиток якого можливо прискорити з упровадженням Індустрії 4.0. Метою дослідження є визначення впливу Індустрії 4.0 на моделювання сценаріїв енергетичного розвитку економік країн, що розвиваються. У ході дослідження використано методи аналізу та синтезу, економіко-статистичного аналізу, графічні методи, метод порівнянь. У результаті дослідження відзначено високий ступінь упливу Індустрії 4.0 на українську економіку, зокрема енергетику. Поза іншим, результатом такого впливу є підвищення енергоефективності. Визначено, що за досліджуваний період енергоспоживання на основі відновлюваних джерел в Україні значно зросло – в 11,5 разів. Окреслено відмінності в енергетичному розвитку України та Китаю, що полягають у виборі Китаю на користь своєї енергетичної незалежності. Зроблено висновок, що вагома роль у сценаріях розвитку енергетики належить розвиткові та впровадженню новітніх технологій. Головна відмінність у сценаріях розвитку енергетики між розвиненими країнами та країнами, що розвиваються, полягає в строках досягнення цілей. Перспективою подальших досліджень має бути формулювання переліку засобів визначення впливу невизначеності на моделювання сценаріїв енергетичного розвитку.
