Abstract: Das durch Reduktion mit Tributyl‐ SnH aus (Ia) erhaltene Bipyrrol (Ib) wird nach Vilsmeyer zu (II) formyliert (daneben der sehr instabile 2‐Monoaldehyd (9.9% Ausb.) und das 2,3′‐Diformyl‐Isomere (56%)).
