“…Earlier, in the studies of Trichoderma activity, a number of authors concluded that gram-negative bacteria were more sensitive to the antibacterial action of Trichoderma species than Gram-positive ones [16,17]. As for our data, this conclusion is not confi rmed because most of the studied fungal strains showed antibacterial activity against C. michiganensis subsp.…”

“…The inocula of the respective bacteria were streaked into MH agar plates using a sterile swab and were then dried at 37°C during 15 min. A sterile filter disc having 6 mm of diameter was placed at the surface of MH agar and 5 μl of the essential oil was dropped onto each Whatman paper disc [30]. The treated Petri dishes were incubated at 37°C for 18 to 24 h. The antibacterial activity was evaluated by measuring the clear zone surrounding the Whatman paper.…”

“…The agar diffusion method was used for the determination of antibacterial activities of P. canariensis seeds oils according to the method described by Bel Haj Khether et al 18 . The bacterial cultures were first grown on Muller Hinton agar MH plates at 37 for 18 to 24 h prior to seedsing onto the nutrient agar.…”
