Cenário das publicações científicas em carreira e gênero

Abstract

Carreira e gênero são temáticas interdisciplinares que se conectam nas trajetórias pelo atravessamento de marcadores sociais de diferenças. Este estudo objetivou analisar a produção científica em carreira e gênero, de 1945 a 2017, indexada na base de dados Web of Science. Por meio de análise bibliométrica, buscou-se examinar a literatura com referência à distribuição temporal; frequência de autoria; distribuição geográfica; distribuição por periódicos; frequência de citações e frequência de termos nos títulos. Os resultados indicaram: crescimento numérico dos estudos; ampliação do entendimento de gênero; mudanças no foco das pesquisas; representatividade da Psicologia e hierarquia do norte global na produção de conhecimento. Com esse mapeamento, evidenciam-se teórica e empiricamente as diferentes vivências objetivas e subjetivas de gênero nas carreiras e as indissociáveis influências de outros marcadores de diferença.
