Ambos os compostos possuem atividade em baixas concentrações (ácido 4-hidroxi-3-[3,7,11-trimetildodeca-2,6,10-trienil] benzoico -CL 90 10,04 ppm e ácido caldensínico CL 90 13,62 ppm), por isso foi solicitado o pedido de patente intitulada "Extração e uso de ácido caldensínico e seus análogos como moluscicida e esquistossomicida", na qual o ácido 4-hidroxi-3-(3,7,11-trimetildodeca-2,6,10-trienil) benzoico isolado neste estudo é integrante.…”
