On 25 October 2015 the United Nations approved The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs). It is an important event from different points of view: clear judgment was expressed on the unsustainability of current development models, not only on the environmental level, but also on the economic and social ones. The implementation of the agenda requires a strong involvement of all members of society, especially business. The article aims to provide a literature overview on the relationships between innovation and sustainable development objectives in the industrial context. SDGs are also analyzed in terms of stakeholders involved, reactions of companies and citizens and metrics recently proposed by researchers of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC). These preliminary results show that different stakeholders approach the SDGs differently, but also that the interest of companies toward SDGs is growing, confirming the considerations that emerged in literature. Furthermore, some SDGs appear to be more a prerequisite for achieving targets, than actual goals, while innovation has proven to be a driver for most SDGs.

This article is devoted to an efficiency measurement of the maritime industry presented through the joint value of industry stakeholders. A list of factors contributing to the efficiency of the state maritime policy and factors in the development of the maritime industry were defined and separated into four groups: group 1 (infrastructural factors): Renewal of port infrastructure; coastal infrastructure of sea stations; ecological and physical safety; and convenience in reaching the port of departure of a cruise ship; group 2 (management factors): The effectiveness of management mechanisms; the level of automatization and effective communications technologies; the coordination of various types of transport; and the efficiency of port services; group 3 (marketing factors): Tariff policies (tariff amounts, number of port fees, flexibility of the price policy); and competition in the ports; group 4 (service factors): Attractiveness of logistics conditions; the development of international tourism; the development of sea leisure; the development of merchant shipping, shipbuilding, ship repair, and instrument making in the port; and the simplification of port entry procedures. The joint value was considered to be a category at both a macroeconomic and microeconomic level, and it was combined with a multivariate regression model performed on the basis of the statistical analysis and data processing system Statistica 8.0. The complex combination of the results of the multifactorial linear model of the joint value created in the maritime industry led to the conclusion that the best alternative to the development of the port industry in Ukraine is the scenario of state modernization and corporatization in the port business model.

The purpose of the study is to substantiate factors and mechanisms of development of green tourism and its consequences. Methodology. The methodological basis of the study is the systematic synergistic approach to the study of socioeconomic phenomena in rural areas under the influence of macroeconomic factors and local initiatives to increase their socioeconomic potential through the practice of green tourism. The research used such methods as analysis and synthesis, comparison, and generalization. Historical and logical methods of scientific knowledge, expert evaluations, graphic, and averages are used. The abstract-logical method of research allowed, through theoretical generalizations, to determine the research tasks, to formulate the working hypothesis and conclusions. A survey was conducted on 800 rural residents aged 18-72, of which 56% were women and 44% were men from 6 regions of Ukraine, among which 20% were inhabitants of ecological and tribal settlements. The participants in the survey were persons under 35 years of age (26% of their total number), persons 35 to 55 years old (accounted for 47%), and 55 years and older (27%). Respondents having higher education were 28%, incomplete higher-6%, secondary special-30%, secondary-33%, others-3%. Respondents in the social sphere accounted for 30%, agriculture-26%, pensioners-23%, forestry-3%, unemployed persons-18%, which ensured the representativeness of the sample. The study period covered the years of 2013-2017. Results. As a result of the study, it was established that the development of green tourism is the basis of rational nature management and increasing the competitiveness of the regions through the formation of their investment and socio-environmental attractiveness. The subject of the study is a set of institutional, theoretical-methodological, methodological, and applied problems of the development of green tourism. The conditions and retrospective of tourism development are outlined, among which the priority is to increase the socioeconomic activity of the territories with minimal investments of budgets of all levels and a high level of return on investments. The basic problems of the establishment of green (ecological tourism) are identified. The basic ones are the inadequacy of the quality and range of services provided at their prices, as well as the low level of professionalism of the persons providing tourist services. The factors that determine the activation of green tourism in Ukraine are determined. Of these, the development of generic settlements as catalysts of social change in the territory is decisive. Public organizations as institutions of social importance are the triggers of the activity. Practical implications.
