Efficiency, optimization, speed and timeliness have always played a decisive role in logistics and supply chain management. Covid-19 has triggered supply chain disruptions, increased logistics costs and decreased productivity. The purpose of the article is to show the role of new digital solutions and modern information technologies in the digitalization of labor activity in the field of logistics as a key factor in reducing and neutralizing negative trends. The objectives of the study are to identify tendencies and trends in the use of digital solutions (as one of the aspects of the fourth industrial revolution) to increase labor productivity and efficiency of logistics activities in the postpandemic period. The promising areas of application of digital technologies in logistics for increasing labor productivity, eliminating existing gaps in the management of logistics systems, as well as overcoming the consequences of the pandemic, have been identified. The aftermath of the pandemic has sparked a deep global economic downturn and a significant rethinking of business technology. Digital transformation processes have intensified, which is reflected in the development of global supply chains. The purpose of this study is to conduct a descriptive comparative analysis of the processes of redistribution of economic resources and assess the processes of digital transformation of society and integration into world supply chains on the example of Russia. This study is based on empirical data obtained as a result of collecting and processing statistical information from various public domain works. To achieve the objectives of the study, indicators such as the logistics performance index, the ICT development index, the digital economy and society index and the digital life index were considered. Among the main changes in the structure of economic resources in a digital society, one can single out: a decrease in the role of natural resources, the development of the concept of renewable resources, and a decrease in dependence on financial resources. At the same time, the role of human resources, knowledge, and entrepreneurial potential is significantly enhanced, which determines the prospects for digitalization of society.

With the rise of the digital economy, a new sort of logistics, known as e-logistics, has emerged as a “must-have” in the worldwide logistics business. That is why this topic becomes so relevant among scholars and the industrial field. The idea of the research is based on the analysis of the literature on transformation of logistics centres. The goal of this study is to quantitative assessment of the current literature on the topic of digital logistics centres by identifying the most relevant areas and a gap in the literature. The research methodology is based on bibliometric analysis using the articles in the Scopus database. Generally, 127 scientific papers from 2019–2023 were analyzed through VOSviewer. Research results show that after the Covid-19 pandemic a large number of technological digital solutions emerged and the pandemic served as a spur to the active use of digital technology by various organizations. The most productive countries were the United Kingdom, the United States, China, Germany and Italy. The study evaluated the following parameters: top publishing countries, most cited authors, widely studied fields, research clusters, etc. The results of the study showed that the most studied areas are digital transformation, Industry 4.0 and supply chain management, while the digital transformation of logistics centers and the application of practical tools have not yet been fully explored. The findings and propositions of the study can contribute to the digital development of local logistics centers and expand the literature in this area.
