Biological parameters of two strains (acaricide resistant and susceptible) of the tick Rhipicephalus microplus

Abstract: The resistance of Rhipicephalus microplus to acaricides occurs in almost all regions where it is present and treatments with chemicals are the most frequent. Therefore the monitoring of ticks is crucial to diagnose resistance at an early stage to help slow down the spread of resistance and to obtain knowledge of the distribution of acaricide resistance.
