In supporting learning for Deaf or Hard of Hearing/DHH children, it is not easy finding learning sources that are accessible online, especially in English. Furthermore, during the COVID-19 pandemic, when learning was required to be carried out online, there were no learning applications that included English sign language that could be used by teachers and students as learning media. Thus, this study aims to analyze the need for developing multimedia-based English learning materials for Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) children. This qualitative study involved DHH students and instructors in Special School (SLB), Bali. The need analysis was conducted to identify the ongoing situation of DHH children in the context of developing English multimedia learning materials. Interview and observation techniques applying two types of instruments in the form of an interview guide and field notes were used to collect the information towards the English learning needs for DHH children. The results of the study identified several needs that underlie the development of English multimedia learning materials, namely inadequate English instructors, text-based teaching materials, and the less than optimal teaching and learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, the development of multimedia-based English learning materials is needed.

There are not many analyses of the degree of variation in the efficiency of the allocation of sports venues in China. The results show that the allocation efficiency of sports venues in China is very high. The results show that the efficiency of the allocation of sports venues in China generally shows a fluctuating upward trend, with the average efficiency value increasing from 0.7 in 2013 to 0.9 in 2014, and there are significant differences at the three regional levels of East, Central, and West China and at the level of each province and autonomous region. The efficiency of the allocation of sports venue resources in the three regions shows a geographical pattern of “eastern region > western region > central region.” The regional disparity in the efficiency of the allocation of sports venue resources in China gradually increases during the period under study, with the opening and closing values of the kernel density curve for 2013–2017, showing an overall “. The nuclear density curve in 2017 shows an obvious bimodal curve distribution. Compared with other years, it can be clearly seen that there are fewer areas with low values and more areas with high values. The polarization of the efficiency of China's sports venue resource allocation and layout has been revealed, and the core density curve is shown as a whole. It can be seen from the sports venue resource allocation index that during the study year, the changes and fluctuations of each major region were different, and the national Er index showed a trend of “Λ.” The shape of the national Er index is “Λ,” while the eastern, central, and western regions are in the shape of “N,” declining slowly and remaining stable, respectively. The ER index fluctuates the most in the eastern region. Hence, the change in the ER index in eastern China plays a dominant role in the polarization of the overall resource allocation efficiency of sports venues in China.

The article presents the possibilities of informative ordering in the analysis of socio-psychological processes. We carried out a brief review of publications covering the use of mathematical apparatus in sociological and psychological research. The main groups of research strategies that have found application in the study of modern socio-psychological processes are identified. We substantiated the necessity and advantages of using the method of information ordering. In our research we described the stages of application of the proposed method, the mathematical apparatus based on the main components, estimates of structural similarity and the amount of information. The developed model of informative ordering can be used to determine the significance of information obtained in the course of sociological, psychological, social, economic and other types of research, where information about the state of the object and subject of research is organized in the form of variational series.
