Objective: This research aims to describe the constrction of a digital application thet provides fundamental information for gasometric interpretation directed to nursing students and nurses. Methods: Is based on an exploratory study of an experimental development of a prototype composed of three phases. The phase 1 was composed of content analysis based on an integrative review, in the phase 2 the prototype was built through an online application development system and finally the phase 3 that followed the usability evaluation applied by the MATcH survey, developed by a group qualified in software of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (GQS/UFSC). Results: Delimitation of the content proposed in the application from the systematic review. The engineering made it possible to project the program, demonstrating the flow of navigation content correlation, general structure, icon development and navigation features. At the end of the MATcH survey application, the validation of the prototype was carried out, with a score of 63,7 characterized as very high usability. Conclusion: This study revealed that the gasoapp is a dynamic support tool for education formation, being ready to be used as a research resource with relevant information to the application and analysis of arterial blood gas analysis.
