Avaliação das tensões liberadas por elásticos ortodônticos em cadeia: estudo in vitro

Abstract: INTRODUÇÃO: os materiais elastoméricos são considerados importantes fontes de força para a movimentação ortodôntica. OBJETIVO: avaliar a liberação de tensões de quatro marcas comerciais de elásticos ortodônticos em cadeia (Morelli, Ormco, TP e Unitek), em função do tempo, quando mantidas tensionadas por uma força inicial de 150g e imersas em saliva artificial a 37ºC.
