Avaliação comparativa de drives de armazenamento na nuvem: Usabilidade e learnability do Dropbox, Google Drive e OneDrive

Abstract

We investigated the level of ease of use and learnability of three online versions of storage systems: Dropbox™, Google Drive and Onedrive by applying usability tests on novice users. There was homogeneity between platforms with no statistically significant differences found. There was a large number of dropouts, fewer errors and more delay than expected. The SUS scores were similar and low for the three drives. We have found three major usability problems of drives for novice users: 1) the taxonomy used on the buttons and menus; 2) the lack of use of conventions in relation to more traditional platforms views in operating systems and 3) the absence of feedback and clearer contextual information.
