This prevalence has shown to increase when only severe to profound degrees of SNHL are considered [20]. The only other report from sub-Saharan Africa was from Nigeria, which reported ANSD prevalence of 15.9% in SNHL cases for a cohort of babies born outside of hospital and 10.3% for a cohort born in hospital [10].…”
