“…Since currently the literature data available on emission of organic pollutants released to the atmosphere from burning waste dumps is limited, the concentrations of gas-phase PAHs in collected samples were compared also to the results of other studies, conducted for urban areas with the use of similar sampling methods (polyurethane foam samplers). The average total PAHs concentration determined in this study was much higher than the values reported for Seoul, Korea (63.03 ng/m 3 ) [21] and for urban and industrial sites of southern and central Taiwan: 535.2-1123.7 ng/m 3 [5] and 652.1-950.7 ng/m 3 [22]. The average PAHs concentrations reported by [17] were also lower than the values reported in the study (2.14-167 ng/m 3 ).…”
