L ucre [1923] described in the cerebral arteries of a year old pigtailed macaque (Macaca nemestrina), the occurrence of irregularly thickened, hyalinized, atherom atous or calcified intim al plaques and the smaller arteries and arterioles had been transformed into completely calcified tubules; even some of the capillary vessels were calcified.…”
