Abstract: Hypothyroidism is a condition that occurs when the thyroid gland fails to produce an adequate amount of the hormone thyroid, as a result of factors for example hypothalamic or pituitary gland disease, common tissue resistance to thyroid hormones, and thyroid gland diseases.
