Assessment of the quality of life of patients is an important source of information about the severity of their disease, the dynamics of their condition, the effectiveness of medical interventions and medical and social support, and at the same time about the effectiveness of medical and social programs at the local and state levels. The standard SF-36 questionnaire contains questions about the physical activity of patients who do not correspond to the physical status (ability to move independently) of the vast majority of palliative patients. The SF-36 questionnaire was modified to determine the quality of life of neurological patients treated in the Kharkiv hospice in 2022. The analysis of literary sources in the Google Scholar, PubMed and ResearchGate databases showed the absence of already modified questionnaires for palliative patients with a neurological profile, but also confirmed the legitimacy of such a modification. Further research was conducted to determine the minimum number of patients who should be interviewed using a modified questionnaire with a sufficient level of representativeness according to the selected method of calculating the median of the binomial distribution. It was determined that the minimum necessary number of patients to be interviewed is 47 people, each of whom was in treatment for at least 330 days per year. The median of the defined group with a deviation was (45±1) people, which indicates the need to continue in 2023 the survey started in 2022. Expansion of the group of interviewed patients should be carried out taking into account the gender structure of the group (the ratio of men to women should be 1:3), age (at least 90% should be aged 60 and over) and the main palliative diagnosis (90% of the selected patients should be from lesions of the central nervous system, even among cancer patients and patients with HIV/AIDS). The need to continue the survey is indicated in the perspectives of further research. Keywords: quality of life, HRQOL, IQOLA, palliative and hospice care, modification of questionnaires.

Особливості перебігу вагітності в жінок, які хворі на хіміорезистентний туберкульоз (огляд літератури) О. М. Разнатовська, O. С. Шальмін Туберкульоз -глобальна причина захворюваності серед жінок репродуктивного віку, що становить серйозну материнську та перинатальну небезпеку як у розвинених країнах, так і країнах, що розвиваються. Туберкульоз посідає 3 місце серед причин смертності жінок репродуктивного віку. При цьому спостерігається майже однакова частота як діагностики специфічного процесу у вагітних, так і вагітності у хворих жінок на туберкульоз. Нині у світі на цьому тлі лікування хіміорезистентного туберкульозу (ХРТБ) у вагітних залишається спірним.Мета роботи -огляд сучасних літературних джерел щодо встановлення особливостей перебігу вагітності у хворих на ХРТБ, що допоможе клініцистам-практикам у визначенні тактики ведення таких пацієнток.Результати. У вагітних жінок позалегеневі та легеневі форми туберкульозу виявляють з майже однаковою частотою. Не треба боятися проводити рентгенографію органів грудної порожнини у вагітних, оскільки під час екранування черевної порожнини ризик опромінення плода є незначним. У хворих жінок на туберкульоз пологи в середньому відбуваються на 38 тижні вагітності, а передчасні пологи пов'язані з прогресуванням туберкульозного процесу. У вагітних, які хворі на туберкульоз, вірогідно частіше порівняно з вагітними без туберкульозу виникають хоріоамніоніт, гестози, передчасні пологи, анемія, пневмонія, висока материнська та перинатальна смертність. У новонароджених є підвищений ризик недоношення, вродженого туберкульозу, внутрішньоутробного обмеження росту плода, вроджених аномалій і дистрес-синдрому. Висока частота розвитку вказаних ризиків у вагітних і новонароджених вірогідно залежить від прогресування туберкульозу, хіміорезистентності мікобактерії туберкульозу та адекватності антимікобактеріальної терапії. Не лікований ХРТБ пов'язують із вищою материнською смертністю, підвищеним ризиком вертикальної передачі туберкульозу, мимовільними викиднями, обмеженням росту плода, передчасними пологами, підвищеною неонатальною смертністю. Грудне вигодовування можливе за відсутності бактеріовиділення в матері. Interest to the studies of life quality by scientists and practitioners is constantly growing, as this unique approach allows to fundamentally change the traditional view of the problem of the disease and the patient. By investigating the quality of life as an integral index of the patient's condition, it is possible to assess the complex impact of the disease on the patient's life, to compare the effectiveness of various interventions, to predict the disease course. However, the problem of assessing the quality of life in patients with tuberculosis under conditions of alcohol consumption remains poorly understood. To establish the level of quality of life in patients, 102 men with newly diagnosed tuberculosis, with preserved sensitivity to anti−tuberculosis drugs were examined. The AUDIT test was used to assess their alcohol consumption, and the MOS SF−36 questionnaire was used to analyze the quality of life parameters. The study also assessed quality of life parameters and alcohol consumption in groups with varying prevalence of tuberculosis and the presence of mycobacteria or no bacterial excretion. According to the findings, the following conclusions can be drawn: pulmonary tuberculosis leads to a decrease in quality of life with the greatest depression in the group of patients who abuse alcohol; quality of life indices are significantly lower in patients with advanced tuberculosis and bacterial excretion, while the level of alcohol consumption in these groups is significantly higher than in patients with localized forms and lack of bacterial excretion. Interestingly, when interviewing patients, none of them rated their health as "excellent", answering the first question of the SF−36 questionnaire, and 100 % of respondents to question 11 answered "definitely not" to the statement "I expect my health to deteriorate". The obtained research data on the parameters of quality of life in patients with tuberculosis can be used to achieve the highest effectiveness of therapy and targeted psychosocial rehabilitation.
