The relevance of the research topic is proven. Based on the study of the state and development trends of the construction sector, the following was determined: the construction sector is an important branch of the state's economy, which affects its development and ensures the functioning of other spheres of activity. It reflects trends and is an indicator of the development of the state's economy. The construction sector reacts more inertly to the changes taking place in the country, both in terms of development and the accumulation of negative phenomena; for the period before 2020, there was an increase in the main indicators of the construction sector. In particular, the production and economic potential were strengthened due to the growth of fixed assets, current assets, and sources of financing. It should be noted that the value of equity was decreasing along with an increase in the level of current liabilities. This affected the level of financial stability of construction enterprises; in the "military" period there has been a decrease in the activity indicators of construction enterprises, a reduction in the level of production and economic potential, investment attractiveness; during the studied period, most enterprises in the construction sector are profitable, but their unprofitability has been increasing over the last two years; it should be pointed out the slowdown in the development of labor potential in the construction sector, which reduces the trends and level of development of construction enterprises.
As a result of the study, it was concluded that construction enterprises have a multifaceted nature of development. At most economic entities, there is an increase in the efficiency of the use of assets, productivity and financial stability, and current liquidity is strengthening. At the same time, in the structure of financial sources, most of them operate at the expense of borrowed funds, which reduces the financial stability of construction enterprises. The presented indicators form the basis for building the economic component within the intellectual economic system of construction enterprises.
It has been proven that there are no comprehensive economic systems for managing all types of resources, automation of the processes of their formation and use, taking into account the modern tools of artificial intelligence, spatial aspects of the activity of economic entities, which is especially relevant in the construction sector. Therefore, the development of the proposed intelligent economic system of construction enterprises will solve urgent issues aimed at the development of construction enterprises, using modern informational, analytical, economic, geospatial, security tools and tools of artificial intelligence.
The proposed quantitative methods determine the economic and applied tools for the formation and use of the intelligent economic system of construction enterprises. They make it possible to determine the factors of the diagnostic and analytical assessment system and to establish cause-and-effect relationships between the factors for forecasting changes and making informed management decisions regarding the formation and use of the intelligent economic system of construction enterprises.
