Aspectos clínicos da demência senil em instituições asilares

Abstract: ResumoPacientes com demência senil necessitam de institucionalização com freqüência. Isto se deve ao progressivo aumento de dependência física e mental de seus portadores. O presente artigo revisa peculiaridades quanto a manifestações e evoluções em quadros de infecções, desnutrição, incontinência urinária, distúrbios do comportamento e imobilidade.
