Das Produkt ( I ) kristallisiert in tiefvioletten, metallisch glanzenden Blattchen, die in Durchsicht blau erscheinen ; in Benzol, Toluol und Methylenchlorid ist es mit intensiv blaugruner Farbe gut loslich. Bei 45°C/10-2 Torr kann der neue Komplex unter teilweiser Zersetzung sublimiert werden; unter N, schmilzt er im geschlossenen Rohr bei 104°C. Kristalle von ( 1 ) sind an der Luft mehrere Stunden haltbar, Losungen zersetzen sich jedoch rasch.Im Massenspektrum von (I) tritt das Molekiil-Ion bei m/e= 536 (bez. auf ',Cr) auf. Sukzessive Abspaltungvon zehn CO-Gruppenausgewiesen durch die entsprechenden Massenlinien und metastabilen Ubergangefuhrt zu [Cr2AsC6HS] +, das unter Verlust eines Chromatoms zu [CrAsC6H5] + zerfallt. Das 'H-NMR-Spektrum von (1) zeigt auRer einem Multiplett fur die Phenylprotonen (6 = 7.5-8.0 ppm, int. TMS) kein weiteres Signal. Das IR-Spektrum von ( 1 ) zeigt im vco-Bereich Absorptionen bei ,2082 (s), 2032 (m), 1984 (sst) und 1953 (s) cm-' (n-Hexan), deren Zahl auf eine gestorte C4,-Symmetrie der Cr(CO)5-Gruppen hinweist. Die vco-Banden von (2) liegen denigegenuber bei niedrigeren Frequenzen : 2068 (st), 1950 (sst) und 1923 (s) cm-' (n-Hexan). Die im Spektrum von ( 2 ) (KBrj bei 2140 und 775 cm-auftretenden V A~~-und 6A,GLAbSOrptiOnen sind naturgemal3 bei ( 1 ) nicht zu beobachten, wahrend die Schwingungen des C6H5As-Restes in beiden Verbindungen bei etwa den gleichen Wellenzahlen zu finden sindC4'.
