Antioxidant activity and polyphenol profile of Vranac red wines from Balkan region

Abstract: The objective of the present study was to investigate the correlation between the radical--scavenging properties (measured by evaluating the quenching of the stable 2,2-diphenyl--1-picrylhydrazil radical) of Serbian, Macedonian and Montenegrin red wine Vranac of different geographical origins, and their contents of total phenolics, total flavonoids and polyphenol profile.
