Analysis of the difference in biogas volume between continuous and semi-continuous systems

Abstract: The increasing demand for energy due to population growth and reduced sources of oil reserves puts pressure on every country to immediately produce and use renewable energy as a substitute, one of the alternative energy sources is biogas. The bacteria used in making this biogas is EM4, researchers used these bacteria because they can balance microorganisms. Microorganism inoculants consisting of 90% Lactobacillus produce cow dung are accommodated in a container made of HDPE plastic. The dimensions of the reser… Show more

“…This is attempted by diverting dependence on fossil energy sources towards diversifying other alternative energy sources, including biokerosene from CPO. Kerosene is one of the most important fuels in the world of aviation and is also a fuel for people's cooking (Afisna & Rahadi, 2022;Llamas et al, 2012).…”

“…The wastewater becomes liquid and odorous waste [11], [12]. Generally, industrial wastewater from crumb rubber is acidic, containing dissolved and deposited suspended solids [13] The Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) values are quite high, the nitrogen content is mainly from ammonia which is used as a latex-fixing ingredient [14]. High BOD and COD in wastewater show high levels of organic matter [15].…”
