This research raised the problem of the ideology of one mass media, namely FoxNews.com in its news about the news of the United States Election in 2020. Study of Critical Discourse Analysis (AWK) Teun A. Van Dijk Model is used in solving this research problem. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data source is the news text published on the online news site newyorktimes.com The data collection methods used are documentation techniques, refer methods and record techniques. Data analysis methods in this study include data reducing, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. In this study found a language structure that is divided into 3 levels, namely (1) macro structure, global meaning of a text that can be observed through the theme hats the theme raised by a text; (2) superstructure, the framework of a text, such as the introduction, content, closing, and conclusions; (3) Micro structure, local meaning of a text that can be observed through the choice of words, sentences, and styles used by the text. For overall found (1) macro structure, topics or themes put forward in a news; (2) superstructure, the structure of discourse that connects the scheme or plot of a text, how the text section is composed of the news as a whole; (3) Micro structure, small parts of a text, namely sentences, propositions, classes, and parafrase. Although consisting of various elements, but these elements are a unity that is interconnected and supports each other.Keywords: macro Structure, Superstructure, Micro Structure, Van Dijk

The president is the icon of the number one person in a country, and the position of president is the highest position that allows him to always communicate with the public, namely making public speeches. The understanding of the listeners or the public towards the speech delivered by the president allows misunderstandings to arise in interpreting the meaning it contains, both implied and expressed. Therefore, it is very necessary to have a critical discourse analysis of what the president conveys in general. For this reason, the purpose of this research is to analyze the macro structure, superstructure, and micro structure contained in the text of the president's speech, as well as to reveal the implied intent of the president who put forward a statement in relation to action, context, history, power, and ideology. In addition, because the essence of the research is to describe in detail, the method used is qualitative with the principle of critical discourse analysis from Van Djik. Furthermore, the speech delivered by President Joko Widodo, which was delivered online on the metrotvnews youtube channel on May 19, 2022, was used as the object of this research. By applying the techniques of documentation, observation, systematic recording, literature study and listening to the data and research objects, the results show that the researcher found three dimensions of critical discourse analysis in speech texts, namely macro structure, supra structure, and micro structure. The characteristics of critical discourse analysis found in news texts are action, context, history, power, and ideology. In addition, five implied intentions were also found in the video that was shown online

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberi penjelasan dalam teks yang dikaji oleh seseorang atau kelompok yang memiliki tujuan untuk mengungkap kepentingan dari pihak tertentu. Metode yang digunaka pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis wacana krisis oleh Teun A. Van Djik. Analisis wacana kristis model Van Djik terbagi atas tiga dimensi yaitu dimensi teks, dimensi kognisi sosial, dan dimensi konteks sosial. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan Dimensi teks pada analisis wacana kritis model Teun A. Van djik terbagi atas Struktur makro, super struktur, dan struktur micro. Setiap struktur wacana terdapat beberapa elemen yang ditemukan pada wacana pidato Mendikbud. Struktur makro ditemukan elemen topik/tema yang terdapat pada pidato Mendikbud. Super struktur ditemukan elemen skema berupa rangkaian pendapat yang disusun dan dirangkai, seperti pendahuluan, isi, dan penutup. Struktur micro terbagi atas semantik, sintaksis, stilistik, dan retoris. Elemen semantik terdapat unsur latar dan detil, sintaksis terdapat unsur bentuk kalimat, koherensi, dan kata ganti. Elemen stilistik terdapat unsur leksikon atau pemilihan kata, sedangkan elemen retoris hanya ditemukan unsur ekspresi. Kognisi sosial dipengaruhi oleh tiga elemen yaitu pengetahuan, opini dan sikap, dan yang terakhir adalah ideologi. Dimensi konteks sosial ditemukan pengaruh wacana pidato Mendikbud di masyarakat yang dikuatkan oleh kutipan berita dari surat kabar.
