The gap in this study uses Augmented Reality media when the learning system takes place. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL)—model in increasing mathematical understanding of concepts assisted by Augmented Reality. The method used in this study uses a quantitative methodology with a quasi-experimental research design with a nonequivalent control group design approach. The random cluster sampling technique was used for sampling in this study. The class used was ten science four class as the control class and ten science five class as the experimental class. Validity and reliability test were carried out with the help of Winstep 3.73 software and data analysis techniques using SPSS 24.0 for Windows software. The total question of the instrument is five, which contains indicators of mathematical understanding concepts. The results of this study are that the experimental class using the Augmented Reality-assisted Project Based Learning (PjBL) model is better than the control class using conventional models. The implications of this research are to assist teachers in improving students’ ability to mathematical understanding concepts and improve innovative learning methods in the classroom with the PjBL models and augmented reality.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman matematis peserta didik dan minimnya sumber belajar matematika yang inovatif sesuai kurikulum 2013. Mengembangkan video pembelajaran berbantuan Powtoon berbasis pendekatan kontekstual untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemahaman matematis pada materi perbandingan trigonometri kelas X merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Develop. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Desseminate. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi oleh ahli dan amgket respon peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan dara penelitian ini adalah studi literatur, studi dokumen dan kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan skala likert. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Simpang Kanan kelas X. Ipa 1. Anggota populasi diilakukan secara acak tanpa memperhatikan strata dalam populasi tersebut (simple random sampling). Berdasarkan hasil uji ahli diperoleh rerata 3,79 kategori sangat valid untuk komponen materi dan untuk komponen media diperoleh rerata 3,66 kategori sangat valid. Video pembelajaran sudah dinyatakan valid selanjutnya dilakukan uji keterbacaan yang dengan melakukan uji skala kecil dan uji skala besar. Pada uji skala kecil dilaksanakan oleh 9 peserta didik dengan total persentase keterbacaanya 84% kriteria baik. Uji skala besar melibatkan 25 siswa dengan total persentase keterbacaanya 89% kriteria baik. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh video pembelajaran berbantuan Powtoon berdasarkan pendekatan kontekstual sangat valid dan keterbacaannya baik untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemahaman matematis pada materi perbandingan trigonometri.

This study aims to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts using the application of the ADDIE learning model assisted by the desmos application. This research is a Classroom Action Research. The research subjects consisted of 36 students of class X-D SMAN 83 Jakarta. Data collection techniques used description test instruments, observation sheets, and documentation. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. Researchers conducted initial observations (pre-cycle) and two learning cycles. An observer assessed the activities of educators and students in each cycle. The results stated that students experienced an increase in the ability to understand mathematical concepts seen from the pre-cycle percentage of 13.89%, cycle I of 66.67%, cycle II of 83.33% and reached the KKM score ≥78 and in accordance with the research target of 80%. This is supported by the activities of students and the activities of educators who also experienced an increase in each cycle in the good category. So it can be said that using the application of the ADDIE learning model assisted by the desmos application can improve the ability of students' understanding of mathematical concepts in trigonometry material.
