Background: In Indonesia there is an increase in the amount of medical waste. Medical waste is still not managed properly and the amount is very large.Previous studies conducted found that nurses had less behavior in disposing both medical and non-medical waste (58,3%). Hospital waste management carried out by nurses and medical personnel, must be done properly and carefully. Method: This research was an analytic survey research with cross sectional approach. The population of this study were 150 nurses in the Inpatient Ward of JIH Hospital Yogyakarta. The sampling technique was simple random sampling, amounting to 60 people. The research instrument used questionnaire. The data analysis technique used chi-square test and logistic regression. Result: Nurses knowledge mostly in sufficient category (55%). Nurses attitude mostly in supportive category (56,7%). Nurses behavior mostly in good category (50%). There was correlation between knowledge and medical waste behavior with significant value 0,030 (p<0,05). There was correlation between attitudes and medical waste behavior with significant value 0,019 (p<0,05). Conclusion: There were correlations of knowledge and attitudes to the medical waste behavior on nurses in inpatient ward of JIH hospital Yogyakarta.

The compliance rate of health workers in patient safety is not fully good at 68.7% and the implementation of patient safety in Indonesia is not optimal at 74.2% whereas in 2016 in Indonesia there were still 31 cases related to patient safety. To determine the factors that affect the compliance of health workers in the implementation of patient safety goals using a systematic review approach. This study uses a systematic review method from 9 studies using a quantitative approach commonly called a meta-analysis. The search for the source of this research data uses PRISMA flow charts from several databases such as Google Scholar, garuda portal, ProQuest, and Elsevier. Where published in the last 10 years (2013-2023). 25 variables were the same in the study between one researcher and another, namely age, gender, marital status, number of dependents, length of work, nurse knowledge, nurse motivation, supervision, nursing, organizational influence, educational status, compliance behavior, ability, supervisor support, fellow nurse support, workplace comfort, employment status, motivation, perception, nurse compliance, 6 patient safety goals, patient safety culture, patient identification, patient safety events, and patient fall prevention. The average P-Value value is 0.180, the minimum value of P-Value = 0.000, and the maximum value of P-Value = 0.995. 8 dominant factors influence health workers in implementing patient safety goals. 8 dominant factors influence health workers in implementing patient safety goals, namely knowledge, length of work, nurse work motivation, nurse perception, stress level and workload, nurse compliance, organizational influence, and supervisor support.

The main objective of the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) is to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and integration capabilities in health services, starting from outpatient services, inpatient services, emergency departments, surgical installations, medical records, nutrition units, and to management. hospital financial accounting. So it is necessary to optimize the use of HMIS will be an effort to improve the quality and quality of services from hospitals. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the behavior of nurses in the use of HMIS in Karanganyar District Hospital. This research is a quantitative research using a cross sectional design. The number of samples used was 67 respondents. The technique of collecting samples by random sampling. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression test. From the results of the t-test, it shows that the variable complexity of the tool and motivation has the same value, namely: P-value = 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant influence on the behavior of nurses. While the knowledge and attitude variables had no effect on the behavior of nurses with P-values of 0.109 < 0.05 and 0.134 < 0.05, respectively. For the simultaneous influence of knowledge, attitude, tool complexity, and motivation variables on behavior is 0.000 < 0.05.
