Show more

“…The DEA model is oriented to calculate returns to scale, characterized by the efficient frontier (Buitrago Suescú et al, 2017). In 1978, Charnes, Cooper, and Rhodes introduced the DEA-CCR model, which fixes the radial efficiency measures of inputs and outputs expressed in three ways: fractional, multiplicative, and enveloping (Anderson et al, 2007;Charnes et al, 1978;Liu et al, 2013).…”

“…In [62], a crossefficiency DEA model was also used for the classification of research groups of the Engineering School of UdeA. For a review of applications of DEA models in the Colombian Higher Education system, the reader is referred to [63]. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study using cross-efficiency DEA models for teaching evaluation in higher education.…”

“…The conclusion is there is no definitive standard to guide the selection of inputs and outputs in assessing university efficiency (Kuah & Wong, 2013). According to Buitrago-Suescún et al (2017), the literature reports approximately 254 inputs and 230 outputs to measure education efficiency worldwide.…”
