ANALISA ACTIVITY SUPPORT YANG MENDORONG PERKEMBANGAN SEBUAH KORIDOR (Studi Kasus: Jalan Tlogosari Raya Semarang)

Abstract

Abstrac:The Tlogosari street corridor is one of an example of a commercial corridors with various urban activities including offices, banking food stands, stores, and retail businesses . But, not all the corridors at Tlogosari street grew and lived properly. Only a few corridors are crawded. Far away from the entrance of the Tlogosari’s gate, the corridors were quiet and no street vendors who sell their wares along these street. This study aims to determine the types and forms of support activity that encourage the development of the Tlogosari Raya street corridor.. The research method used is a Qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of the analysis it was found that street vendors are one of the supporting activities that encourage the development of corridors. There is a positive reciprocal relationship between the existence of stores/ shophouses and street vendors at the Tlogosari Raya Street. Shophouse activities and street vendors' approval are two factors driving the corridor on Tlogosari Raya Street to develop rapidly. Street vendors divided by selecting and choosing location close to a shop that is crowded with visitors. Food and drink street vendors are the kinds of street vendors that are much in demand by the public.Keyword: activity support, corridor developmentAbstrak: Koridor Jalan Tlogosari Raya adalah salah satu contoh koridor komersil dengan berbagai aktivitas masyarakat perkotaan baik berupa perkantoran, perbankan, warung makan, pertokoan dan bisnis ritel. Tetapi tidak semua koridor di Jalan Tlogosari Raya tumbuh dan hidup. Hanya beberapa koridor saja yang terlihat ramai dan berkembang. Semakin menjauhi pintu masuk Bumi Tlogosari koridor terlihat sepi dan tidak ada PKL yang ikut mejajakan dagangannya di sepanjang jalan tersebut, walaupun banyak ruko berjajar yang tetap buka melayani konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis dan bentuk activity support yang mendorong berkembangnya koridor jalan Tlogosari Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan metode Deskriptif Kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh temuan bahwa PKL merupakan salah satu bagian activity support yang mendorong perkembangan sebuah koridor. Terdapat hubungan timbal balik yang positif dari kebradaan ruko dan PKL pada koridor Tlogosari Raya. Aktivitas ruko dan keberadaan PKL adalah dua faktor yang mendorong koridor di Jalan Tlogosari Raya berkembang pesat. PKL cenderung mengelompok dengan sejenisnya dan memilih lokasi yang dekat dengan Ruko-ruko yang ramai pengunjung. PKL makanan dan minuman adalah jenis PKL yang banyak diminati oleh masyarakat.
