An overlooked indicator of disease activity in ulcerative colitis: Mean platelet volume

Abstract: Many non-invasive tests have been studied for diagnosis and determining the activation degree of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Nevertheless, an ideal test has not been found yet.
