Abstract: RFID technologies represent a common standard for data storage and retrieval that could improve collaboration and data sharing between non-competing organizations. With the advent of RFID (radio frequency identification), organizations have the opportunity to rethink how their organization will be. Unlike companies in the United States and Europe which are mandated by large retailers or government departments, most Taiwan companies are investing in RFID without pressure. “…In terms of environmental factors, having a good risk assessment and compatibility with existing standards are another important factors for the proposed study of this paper while building a good relationship with customers is another important management factor. The results of our survey are somewhat consistent with the results of Ozturk and Palakurthi (2010), Brown and Russell (2007) and Shih et al (2008).…”

“…The results support prior research in this area (Robinson, Marshall and Stamps 2005;Craighead and Shaw 2003). From an organizational perspective, healthcare organizations that work with suppliers to resolve RFID technology issues are more likely to succeed and effectively manage the organizational change process (Shih, Chiu and Chang 2008). We discovered that the RFID supplier's post-sales support for user training and technical assistance would make RFID implementation easier and thus enhance the positive image of RFID.…”

“…In a mandatory adoption process, the adopters have no choice but to continue the use of RFID even though they may evaluate their confirmation and satisfaction status. The dissatisfied adopters intend to Implementation complexity, integration complexity The perceived complexity "actually came out of fear which was converted into reluctance" to adopt RFID (Farm C) Schmitt and Michahelles, 2009;Sharma et al, 2008;Chang et al, 2008;Shih et al, 2008;Tsai et al, 2010;Brown and Russell, 2007 Compatibility Compatibility with farming processes, styles, and existing technologies Compatibility "is not an issue as RFID did not conflict with our practice rather it is quite smart a process" (Farm D) Schmitt and Michahelles, 2009;Sharma et al, 2008;Chang et al, 2008;Brown and Russell, 2007 Trialability Try before implement, try in an incremental fashion "We implemented RFID in a trail basis, starting with animalidentification ending to farmintegration" (Farm C) Matta and Moberg, 2006 Cost RFID component costs, maintenance costs, on-going business costs…”
