The Local Creative Ads on Sritanjung Fm to Increase Financial Revenue During Covid-19 Pandemic

<p>The COVID-19 pandemic condition requires private radio managers’ creativity, one of which is the Sritanjung FM in the Banyuwangi Regency. Uniquely, as a cultural radio, Sritanjung FM advertising revenue increased precisely during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses a virtual ethnographic method that collects data offline and online. Researchers conducted direct observations of Sritanjung FM in Rogojampi District, Banyuwangi Regency, and conducted a virtual search through audio streaming, Facebook, and WhatsApp. In this study, informants amounted to four people, two from radio staff, one cultural expert, and one loyal listener. The results showed that the number of local advertisers and the frequency of local advertisements had increased three times. The internal causes include the creativity of Sritanjung FM in creating cultural programs and religious programs, creativity in the designing messages for ads spots, and uniqueness of using local language that match the COVID-19 theme. Local culture advertising creativity can be felt as the main taste of content that has relevance to postmodernism studies. External causes include the need for a business breakthrough to maintain income, the socio-cultural context of Osing ethnicity for the Banyuwangi people. Combined interest between local advertisers, strong Osing culture identity, and advertisers' creativity make Sritanjung FM experience a surge in revenue from local advertisers during the COVID-19 pandemic.</p>

Gender discrimination in Indonesia has existed since ancient times. As a Javanese woman, Kartini became a figure who experienced the past and even by her family. Due to her limitations, Kartini wrote about her restlessness and thoughts in the form of letters sent to her Dutch friends. The letters were then collected and put together into a book entitled Door Duisternis tot Licht. Pramoedya took some fragments of Kartini's letter, and tried to see Kartini in her literary glasses in the biographical novel Call Me Kartini Saja. Relying on qualitative methods and constructivist paradigms and using Vladimir Propp's narrative analysis, the purpose of this research is to reveal the description of the character's function in the narrative in the novel. The role analysis is only in narratives that contain elements of feminism. This research found that the novel P Call Me Kartini Saja contains seven of the 31 narrative functions and seven characters which are grouped into four character functions. Through the narrative function and character function that have been analyzed in this novel, this suggestion suggests that Kartini's spirit in fighting for emancipation through her writing and thoughts should always be lived out in her daily activities because her struggle allowed Indonesian women to indulge their rights.

West Kalimantan has a history of inter-ethnic conflicts, and the process of reconciliation has been continued until today in order to create a complete peace. This present study uses the qualitative method of explorative case study from the perspective of Arendt's Political Forgiveness Theory to analyze the process of individual forgiveness in the ongoing reconciliation process. The results indicate that the dialectics of forgiveness practices that occur individually cannot be achieved completely due to several factors, but the presence of the West Kalimantan Children's Forum, the Madurese Family Association, the Alliance for Peace and Transformation, and the Dayakology Institute stimulates the emergence of collective forgiveness for the past interethnic conflicts in the younger generation in West Kalimantan. The findings suggest that sustainable justice is the main solution that will enable all ethnic groups to live in harmony. AbstrakKalimantan Barat memiliki sejarah konflik antar-etnis, dan proses rekonsiliasi telah berlanjut hingga hari ini untuk menciptakan perdamaian yang seutuhnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kasus eksploratif dari perspektif Teori Pengampunan Politik Arendt untuk menganalisis proses pengampunan individu dalam proses rekonsiliasi yang masih berlangsung. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa dialektika praktik pengampunan yang terjadi secara individual tidak dapat dicapai sepenuhnya karena beberapa faktor, tetapi kehadiran Forum Anak-Anak Kalimantan Barat, Asosiasi Keluarga Madura, Aliansi untuk Perdamaian dan Transformasi, serta Institut Dayakologi merangsang munculnya pengampunan kolektif untuk konflik antar-etnis masa lalu pada generasi muda di Kalimantan Barat. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa keadilan berkelanjutan adalah solusi utama yang akan memungkinkan semua kelompok etnis untuk hidup dalam harmoni.
