“…According to Simpson (2018), thinking about education for the common good (he specifies that it is for peace) allows us to recover "our own positive identity and lays the foundation for building social support networks among communities. In terms of communication, "education is seen as the means to achieve active or critical reception, and the formation of audiences, that is, to give rationality and reflexivity to the media experience" (Valdivia-Barrios et al, 2018).
